Goals
The University Library recognizes its role as an instrument of teaching and research in the academe, As such, its general objective is to acquire, organize and service a collection of library materials both print and non-print, in support of the University's teaching, research and extension programs. Specifically, it aims to:
• Acquire, organize and maintain varied, authoritative and world class resources that are relevant to the teaching, research and extension services functions of the University;
• Create awareness among the users of the various resources and services offered by the Library;
• Access to bibliographic information should be provided either on-site or outside the Library;
• Maintain competent library personnel who are capable of providing effective library services;
• Establish networking with other libraries in the region to promote greater cooperation in terms of use of library resources.
